Mind the cliff: on the lack of care provision for autistic adults in Japan and what we can learn from it

In my research, I take a deep dive into the everyday practices of care providers working with autistic adults in Japan. I map out these practices, systematize them, and then compare and contrast them to the practices of Finland. By doing so it is possible to uncover what care providers working with autistic adults in both countries can learn from each other’s approaches and experiences. These findings will help to diversify the toolbox of care provision practices in both countries.
